Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- Whole wheat flour – 2 cups (approximately 200 g)
- Salt – ½ tsp (to taste)
- Water – as needed (about ½ cup)
- Oil or ghee – 1 tbsp (optional, for softer dough)
For the Aloo Pyaaz Filling:
- Potatoes – 2 medium-sized, boiled and mashed (approximately 300 g)
- Onions – 1 large, finely chopped
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Green chilies – 1-2, finely chopped (optional, for heat)
- Ginger – 1-inch piece, grated
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Amchur (dry mango powder) – ½ tsp (optional, for tanginess)
- Fresh coriander leaves – chopped, a handful
- Salt – to taste
For Cooking:
- Ghee or oil – for shallow frying
